What a surprise to receive 6 replies in 10 days and one of these sellers just happened to be about to deliver a VW to within 100 miles of my home.... No small feat since he lived in Tn. and I live in Wi....Viva the power of this site and the net!! Thanks again aquillo@merr.com

Mickelwait's '69 912From: Kurt Mickelwait; Mar 27, 2001; kmickelwait@erols.com ; I have just discovered your site. Excellent! Now I know that other 912 owners are out there. I track a 69 912 with a bunch of 911s, 944s, 928s, 968s ect.. in the Potomac PCA regions DE program. I get lots of good natured ribbing for driving the 912. That is until I chase em' down then they aren't looking! I have overheard people warning others to watch out for the SOB in the green 912. Big time embarrassment to get caught by a "little" 912 while driving a 911.  Thanks for the site. I will compose some info for the engine, suspension and outlaw sections soon. Kurt 69 Irish green sunroof coup. looks stock. (but it ain't!)

From: Chris Bruch; Mar 10, 2001; cbruch@alpine.net ; I sold my 912 today ( actually traded for a 65 bug ) to a friend locally. Thank you for allowing me to post...awesome site. I will come back to purchase when I am ready for another 912 older and wiser! Thanks again................Chris

From: James Palomarez; Mar 07, 2001; palomarezj@pronet.net ; I just have a question. I am interested in buying a 1969 Porsche 912.  Approx. how much $$$ (American Dollar) should I expect to pay for a well-kept one.  Thanks.

From: Jennifer Yarbrough; Feb. 20,2001; Seiran@NetZero.Net My boyfriend and I just purchased a 1968 Porsche 912. We are really happy to have it. After some browsing on the web we were lucky to stumble upon this site. It is great to know that there is a resource for this.  Thanks, Jennifer

From: Jed Elinoff; February 16, 2001; londin_winters@yahoo.com ; I'm strongly considering purchasing a 912E. I've been talking to everyone I know and scouring the web for information. One of the things I've heard is that the fuel injection system on the E is a huge pain and makes the car not worth buying. I didn't like hearing that because the car has several features that attract me to this particular model. If anyone knows about this please respond or email me at
elinoff@earthlink.net Thanks, Jed Elinoff
