Virginia | USA | Bahama Yellow; My "Bahama Mama" was purchased in 6/02 from the SF Bay Area off of an advertisement on the 912 Registry. She's got a 5 spd box, dual webers, & 1720 big bore. Interior, including dash, 'updated' by PO in tan Connelly leather. Very nicely done, but not original. Other PO changes: painted dash, wood trim & later gauges, window cranks, and exterior handles. One of the PO's also added those funny '68 side reflectors. | |

Original exterior color: Polo Red. Purchased 7/00 & am currently about 90% through a complete restoration including a bare metal repaint in the original color; original motor & 5 speed transmission are still in the car, motor has just been completely rebuilt w/ NPR big bore kit, 44mm carburetors, & Bursch exhaust; car came from a dealer in Costa Mesa CA as I found it practically impossible to find a solid (rust free) car here in Minnesota to begin my project. I've included a "before" picture of the car & will send an "after" picture as soon as I have one. |

This car has been repainted a number of times; currently Maaco's version of British racing green; has a 1969 engine with big bores, Weber carbs. It's a fun driver, & not even close to being a show car. But it's loved, & I drive it every day. |

California | USA | Still original color, used for touring, the original owner took possession of the car and drove it for nearly thirty-eight years; the car changed hands twice during approximately 1500 miles of enjoyment prior to arriving in my hands.
