C-K 6602-012 72 ML Thomas S. Leigh Ohio USA This is my first Porsche & I am so excited to get started restoring this old vintage sports car. I was thinking of bringing it back to life as an original car built for SCCA Club Racing - I figured what better to fill my passion with racing & automobiles then with a true definition of a sports car! The car is pretty much original except for the big bore kit (are these available thru the dealer when bought new?) & fuch wheels; car has been neglected but not abused & I hope to bring back the fire that it once possessed! here are a few pictures I took of the car when I picked it up last month in Wisconsin - I gotta lot of work ahead of me!!!  Photo
C-K 6607 ? Helen Franks Georgia USA '67 model year (made in '66); bought the car 4 years ago from a Porsche salvage yard, think I'm the 4th owner/driver. Originally from Northern California, partially restored and repainted Burgundy Red in 84. I replaced the Solexes with Webers, installed new Koni stocks & replaced the windshield gasket; stripped and sat for 2 years. It's now in the shop, getting new pans and other rust damage repaired. I haven't decided on a paint color.
