| C-P | Darren Brainard | Arizona | USA | I am trying to sell a '67 912; white & the vin shows a 66 on you vin calculations, but the title is 67; car right now is in AZ but was in CA before; top end has been redone & same with the front ball joints and shocks. The driver side Solex is not working well, I think it need new carbs (not sure). I am Asking $4800. My phone number is 602-995-9617 or email me brainard12000@yahoo.com | ||
| C-P | 6605 | 110 KM | Gerald Kunz | Bodenheim | Germany | present colour is polo red; I bought the car in 1982, when I was 21. My father said: "Don`t waste your money for cars like that!". But when the car was repainted and registered, he was proud of the car and his son. I drove the car for 2 years, but when the car had to pass the german technical inspection, I decided to buy a cheaper car, because most of my money was spent on parts for my 912. The car is now waiting for a second restoration. |

; I'm the owner since May 1st, 1997. Unfortunately, the valves had been changed by the
preowner in a Dortmund factory without enough professional care, so it broke down
completely in June 1997. The reconstruction of the complete motor was done by Mr. Wolfgang
Reile, Classic Power, Dürrwiesenstrasse 5, Schorndorf/Württ., Tel. 07181/21890. Total cost: about 20000 DM!!! Since this, the car has only run 25oo kms. |

I am also living in Melbourne. The car has recently (August 2006) undergone paint and trim restoration work by Mike Tankard. Other changes to go include putting in an original radio, retrim dash, fix gauges, and fix passenger seat. If you or anyone can send my high res photos of a '66 dash, that would be great. Thanks!

Robert Ebeling | Hamburg | Germany | The car was originally delivered to Fleischhauer/ Köln 25.5.1966. Always run in germany it must have had a really colourous history.2 years ago i converted it to a 6 cyl. 2.4L E (with Weber carbs), some cam and head modifications to bring it up to 170 HP Din. If a good 912 engine pops up at a reasonable price i might be interested. My 912 might love to meet its original engine again :-). |

Kentucky | USA | Current Engine 616/36 P1080123 which was a factory replacement according to the PCA Certificate of Authenticity; Original Engine 616/36 833172. I have owned this car since 1982. Have not driven it in several years. I just finished [3/04] building a new 26' x 38' garage with a stall dedicated to my 912, which means I hope to start restoration work on it soon. This has been a very long time in coming and needless to say, I am quite excited to get started on my project. I haven't driven the car in over 20 years and it has deteriorated quite a bit over that time, but now, the process will be reversed. |

Ken Romo | California | U.S.A. | Original exterior color #: 110 Current odometer in miles: 51021 (Not actual-non operating) I bought this car from person that said that he was the 2nd owner. If this is true & the previous owners were original this car is very good shape; body seems to be completely original w/ the exception of the suspension pan or the floor pan pedal area, I am not sure what it is refered to as. I am very interested in knowing if this car was built w/ any extra features so that I can add them in as I restore the car. thanks for your help. Ken Romo

| NOTE: although some references are made to VIN 353999 in various literature, Dave Pateman has been in contact with the factory, and discovered that the Porsche built 912 production ended at 353592 in 1966. This means there is a gap in VIN #'s up to 354001, the first VIN of 1967 model year. | ||||||
