C-P 6001L 117 ML Ken Bowgren Illinois USA Just acquired my 912 8/22/01. Paint number is 6001L but there is not a R in front of the paint code so I am guessing the original color was “Signal Green”. She is now painted over in Brown & I am thinking of taking her down to bare metal & giving her a few coats of “Polo Red” this winter. Overall she appears to be in fine condition & is very “drivable”; have been searching the Internet for parts suppliers & have ordered a few catalogs. Let the fun begin.
C-P 97- 621561 70 KM Jochen Schell Mannheim Germany Hi, yesterday (8/12/01) I bought a 67' Porsche 912 for my collection & want to participate your registry. Today it is black.  It was originally exported to USA & came back home 1995. The first German owner drove it just one summer & then it was stored since yesterday. The original miles odometer was exchanged by a german Kilometer one in 1995. The original odometer is no longer there. The engine was completely redone 3000 miles ago.  This is not my only old car.In summer I use my cars as daily drivers, in winter they are stored but even then I use them on sunny days.
Have a nice time. Jochen

C-P     Gene Selger California USA I just purchased a wrecked 912 who gave it's all for a Hollywood Movie. The roof wouldn't collapse so they cut the windshield supports and window frames with a hacksaw. This car didn't die easy. The Engine runs, started up with little help after sitting for 3 to 4 months. Trans, a 5 speed appears to be good car ran prior to movie. Car still moves under its own power. I was tempted to drive it home but didn't have a license plate.  Original radio, Door parts, no window frames. Hood good. Alloys (4) will check sizes when delivered. Original radio instructions with paper work. Motor number 1280222.   I'm just getting back into Porsche after a few decades. I'll welcome all the help I can get.   Photo
