All rubber is plyable. The paint is immaculate. The interior is perfect. The undercarriage is "as new". This car has been kept under two covers and stored in a wooden box in a California warehouse for the past 14 years. It includes all manuals (signed by Ferry Porsche), service book and tool kit all in place. The original Semperit spare is still in place. Even the leather key pouch with all keys (including antenna) is there. This is an absolute time capsule and when presented in public for the first time, enthusiasts should be very excited to see it. C-K		x80 ML	Kai Lindfors	Espoo	Finland	Hello 912 colleagues, This Photo is from 6 years ago [2000] Body color originally white, now silver; still with original engine # 756002 and 4 speed transmission; First delivered in California; Factory options: chrome wheels (still got them) and front bumper overriders, radio and one dash-mounted loudspeaker; History known from early '80's to the present day, nothing from '67 to '84.; The car lived in the Bay area until 1994 when it was exported to Finland; Engine rebuilt by no less than The Maestro, Harry Pellow himself in '86; The archtypical issues that needed work have been done during '00 - '04...new floor pans, suspension rebuild with new dampers and bushes, completely new electric system, interior redone, most of the exterior ornamentals new, and another engine rebuild with Weber 40IDFs + other ancillaries new ; Mileage 80,000 or 180,000 or 280,000 but who cares...the car drives and feels extremely solid, almost like new. An incredible piece of machinery. They don't make them like this anymore. ; If someone who knows anything about the early history of the car i.e. '67 - '84, I'd be very grateful to hear from them! Papers reveal the car as had California plates 2PVZ381 at least during the '80s and early nineties. Thanks for the great work with the website & all! Kind regards

It is a USA car that returned to Italy in 1990. It was already slightly restored at that time but It was again in need for restoration: it had some minor rust issues in the classical body spots (no structural or heavy rust) and was painted silver grey (and I want to have it back in the original sand beige); it also required a fully interior restoration being not loverly cared by the previous owners. I also went through a complete mechanical review (fixing some oil leaks, engine tune, new clutch, new koni dampers, etc). The Odometer reading is not the actual mileage since in the 90's the device has been changed turning it to km since may 2009 the car is finished and I've used it for some tour in the north of Italy enjoying it very much. It has the front sway bar installed and I really love to drive it in the swinging roads of the Alps with the sunroof open !! thank you for your effort, this is a great site for a 912 enthusiast! I asked if he new of a nice car that wasn't on the market yet. I was willing to pay for a VERY nice driver. I was in the market for a 356, 914 or 912. I contacted Craig. He had kept track of a 1 owner car for many years. He bought it to turn it as he is mostly a 356 guy and already owns several very nice cars. From the time I asked Dean to buying the car maybe took a month. In the 70's and 80's I've had a 58 normal, a 59 Super with knockoffs ($1400)a 73 914 2.0 and a 70 914-6 with a 2.2S. I've never owned a 901 based car. I'm really looking forward to the experience. Projects? 3 point belts, North Hollywood volt and oil pressure units in the fuel level and oil temp gauges, perfect matching 356 headrests, 5 6x15 Fuchs to replace my reproduction wheels. That's about it. Just signed up with PCA, again. I live in both California and Colorado.
