458101+   1967 Model Year Karmann Coupes constructed in calendar year 1966.
C-K     Craig Harvey California USA Ok, it breaks my heart but here it goes:  Huntington Beach California  25K miles on rebuilt, Weber carbs, VERY strong engine, clean title, 28-32mpg, no smog requirement, has a NEW clutch set, NEW shocks all around, professionally lowered just right with NEW rear suspension bushings - you can drive it on a bumpy freeway using only two fingers to steer, NEW front suspension linkage ball joints, Interior is all refurbished, has original leather seats changed from red to black I have sheepskin seat covers too for the hot or cold days, all gauges and lights working except clock with a perfect dash. Four point seat belt for driver. New CD/stereo with Polk speakers. Has a NEW quick shifter(feels better then NEW) to go along w/ a rare 5 speed trans conversion, new Goodyear tires that make this car feel like it is glued to the road. All major rubber seals have been replaced & the car was painted w/ Gel Coat paint -it is the deep super glossy black that looks like you could reach into it, look at the reflection in the photos. No rust -the floor pan was replaced & has been a California car since, garaged and mostly driven to the post office once a week. Has a NEW battery, and a NEW electric fuel pump. Includes a bra and cover. This car is not perfect but you would be hard pressed to find anything this nice that is not a show car. This is one of the cleanest 912's around and it is really fun to drive, I get complements everywhere I go but I'm starting a family so I have to sell it. Yes you could find a cheaper 912 but eventually you will spend a lot of your time and money. I am eating 60% of the costs I incurred in making this car into my dream 912. I want to find a good home for it. $11,500 obo, email me for more pictures: charvey@bccinternet.com (714) 812-2986 Thanks, Craig

I bought the car for my father and I. He was working for the distributor out of Holland, Ben Pon when these cars were new. Mostly we use it as a daily driver. A lot of evening cruises on the back roads, and shows at the local mall . The car always gets a lot of attention. People get really excited when they see her.  It's a matching numbers car, and Casey would like to keep it as original looking as possible with the exception of the color.  It's also great being part of a club that is dedicated to the 912. I'm looking forward to making new friends and sharing our mutual passion for these cars.  Interests: Events, Touring, Technical, Restoration, Show, Rallies, Autocross, Racing
