She got the car new in '66 & swears the odometer has only flipped once & that the engine has never been rebuilt. I'm working on fixing the interior and engine since it has been sitting since '88; interior was trashed by rats that crawled in through the heater so it needs a lot of work; body is real nice though; original paint, though it chipping of course; rust damage is mostly superficial being a California car & there are only a few very small dings that need repairing. Also the clock works & I still have original black and yellow plates. My fiancé bought the car for me as a wedding present so I am looking forward to fixing it & taking her for a spin.

The exterior has a lot of surface rust with some rust through in the usual places although the pan is great. The car is highly optioned with Porsche Factory Air, sunroof, rear window wiper, head rests, chrome wheels, power aerial, positraction, fog lights, headrests, seat belts, crash bars etc. and is a five speed. It was last registered in 1986 and has not been driven since then. It still sports its black and yellow California plates. The original milage is a little over 37000 miles. I have been able to start the engine and it appears to run very well. Brakes are locked up in front but the whole system will be gone through before it is put back on the road. Gas tank is out and being sealed. Carbs have been cleaned up and refurbished where needed(thanks John Jenkins). I hope to have it back on the road before April 17th which is my birthday. Actually I found out the car is a 911S, The original Owner adapted a new 4 cylinder engine at 84000 miles. He used a unique engine mount adapter using the 911 mount locations. I always wondered what the oil tank was for.
