Was pretty rusty, but I drove it a year, rebuilt engine, drove it another year & then it was too rusty to pass inspection. Stripped it down, put it up on the rotisserie, work on it as time allows. Basically replacing the bottom half! Suspension pan, floor, inner & outer rockers, rear longitudinals...then "normal" restoration stuff! Hate to let her go for parts, besides, the only Porsches I can afford are the old rusty ones ("broken in"). |
