C-K   53 KM Tom Witte Wisconsin USA Now Red, Now Restoring. Acquired 06_04. A little rough. Doesn't need restoring per se, just some long overdue maintenance and electrical system work. Hope to have it to a "dry-day" daily driver condition soon. Engine is now "big-bore". Ownership trail is sketchy pre-2000. Curious KM speedo in a left hand drive, Midwestern car. Probably some interesting history there.   [PO Charlie Wojciechowski ]

The car sat in our garage until May of 2002 when we decided to do a complete restoration of our little Irish Green Coupe; bare metal paint and body work at Coachwerks in Long Beach and then a complete interior restoration at Collins Auto Trim Downey CA; original cork interior color, new leather seats instead of the original German vinyl. Looks great & smell wonderful;  power train was pulled & replaced with a rebuilt transmission & a John Benton 125 hp engine; full flow oil system, a brand new, new old stock engine case, shasta pistons, new crank & cam shaft & rebuilt Solex carbs; six inch chrome wheels w/ very fun Yokohama 195X60X15 tires.
