Paint Code: Tangerine.  Bought our car in Houston, Texas in '79, were told it came from California originally. Wired (original) as a 911S. Engine & gear box are original units. Engine was rebuilt w/ TLC in '80. My husband is a TIG welder & began serious chassis restoration in '86. Car has over 400 hours of welding including S.S. tunnel, factory front sections, factory inner & outer rockers, & S.S. outer bottom sections. Now black/black w/ turbo black headliner & custom lexan sunroof (probably California origin). No chrome except window frames. Brakes & all Gauges have been updated to later 911 units. Most of interior is being done in black leather. Engine is number 4095231, features biral 1720cc big bore piston/cyl. kit, serious race-ported heads w/ S90 intake valves, stiffened valve train, 44IDF Webers, complete Stainless exhaust including J-pipes, stainless copy of bursch extractor, & Borla muffler. Ignition system is a Crane HI-6 w/ pertronix fitted 050 distrib. A full flow oil filtration (Mecca) system was added also. Also fitted is a stainless fuel tank, electric pump, & Bilsteins.
