Engine rebuilt-top/bottom- at 150,000mi., 5 speed transmission.  This is the second Porsche that I have owned.  My previous Porsche was a 1968, 912 Targa.  I really loved that car but it was stolen.  I live in a small town near Pasadena, California with a population of about 38,000.  If you can believe it, I am one of three 1976, 912E Porsche owners in my town.  Mine is red.  the two others are chocolate brown.  I know this because my mechanic services all three.  I would not own another car-other than a Porsche-if I had a choice.  Everytime I think about selling mine, I decide that it would be a bad idea.

Lowered, good handling, engine strong, no oil leaks, solid weekend driver. Great fun on the back roads of New England.  Excellent condition, no rust; electronic points, original fuel injection, Bursch exhaust. Bare metal repaint, all new seals

It was a short drive away, so I was able to check it out before hand.  The previous owner had it reupholstered inside and it looks original, a lot of work on it, all documented, including nice paint job in a richer yellow than original. Engine rebuild about 42,000 miles ago.  I just had the windshield, rear window, and door seals replaced.
