Windshield replacement:

From: Jules ; Put the trim on before you install the windshield. First wrap the seal over the windshield. Then insert the trim into the seal. Next, install the whole deal. Remember to use soapy water and some wax cord to get the seal over the lip. You will need a helper to apply pressure from the outside while you pull the cord. Happy Motoring

From: Ed; Be careful about the little clips used to hold in the headliner. When I bought my 912, it had this little whistling noise coming from the middle of the windshield on top. When I replaced the glass, it turns out a clip was bent wrong allowing the wind to whistle thru the rubber.

Quarter Windows

Q: from Reza I have a '67 912 that is in dire need of new weatherstripping mostly on the outside of the quarter windows, but also the other windows as well. 1) Where do I order these/how much do they cost? 2) How do I go about removing the old and putting the new in. If the process is too long for a post, then does anyone know a link to online help? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.  -Reza
